Meanwhile, Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:) added 6.37% or 1.70 points to end at 28.40 and Arabian Pipes Company (SE:) was up 4.58% or 0.88 points to 20.08 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (SE:), which fell 3.08% or 2.00 points to trade at 62.90 at the close. Saudi Telecom (SE:) declined 2.58% or 3.00 points to end at 113.20 and Al Omran Industrial & Trading Co (SE:) was down 2.54% or 3.00 points to 115.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 102 to 79 and 22 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.05% or 0.55 to $52.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.94% or 1.06 to hit $55.81 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 9.50 to trade at $1839.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.57% to 4.5555, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7512.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 90.388.
