Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the lost 0.09%.

The best performers of the session on the were AXA Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which rose 8.33% or 2.10 points to trade at 27.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (TADAWUL:) added 5.15% or 0.90 points to end at 18.36 and Raydan Co (TADAWUL:) was up 4.58% or 0.56 points to 12.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:), which fell 4.20% or 4.20 points to trade at 95.80 at the close. The Company for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:) declined 3.43% or 3.00 points to end at 84.50 and Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:) was down 3.21% or 1.00 points to 30.15.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 174 to 69 and 9 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.10% or 0.09 to $86.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.13% or 0.12 to hit $91.92 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.00% or 17.35 to trade at $1,713.15 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 1.19% to 3.71, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.03% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.36% at 111.48.
