Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the lost 0.08%.

The best performers of the session on the were Saudi Fisheries Co. (TADAWUL:), which rose 10.00% or 2.85 points to trade at 31.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:) added 9.95% or 8.60 points to end at 95.00 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (TADAWUL:) was up 9.83% or 2.65 points to 29.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (TADAWUL:), which fell 21.11% or 22.80 points to trade at 85.20 at the close. National Medical Care Company (TADAWUL:) declined 6.34% or 3.70 points to end at 54.70 and Saudi Pharmaceutical Appliances (TADAWUL:) was down 5.64% or 1.55 points to 25.95.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 139 to 93 and 6 ended unchanged.

Shares in Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (TADAWUL:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 21.11% or 22.80 to 85.20. Shares in National Medical Care Company (TADAWUL:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 6.34% or 3.70 to 54.70. Shares in Saudi Pharmaceutical Appliances (TADAWUL:) fell to 52-week lows; down 5.64% or 1.55 to 25.95.

Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.12% or 1.19 to $105.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.79% or 0.88 to hit $110.86 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.35% or 6.35 to trade at $1,844.75 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.32% to 3.95, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 104.04.
