Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the fell 0.08%.

The best performers of the session on the were Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.94% or 0.89 points to trade at 9.84 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Automotive Services Co. (TADAWUL:) added 5.32% or 1.55 points to end at 30.70 and Alamar Foods CJSC (TADAWUL:) was up 4.80% or 6.80 points to 148.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:), which fell 4.73% or 7.80 points to trade at 157.00 at the close. Naqi Water Co (TADAWUL:) declined 3.61% or 2.60 points to end at 69.40 and Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co (TADAWUL:) was down 3.48% or 6.20 points to 172.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 130 to 109 and 13 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.60% or 1.37 to $84.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.04% or 0.97 to hit $91.89 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.96% or 17.00 to trade at $1,758.80 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.75% to 3.88, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.84% at 107.04.
