Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the gained 0.61% to hit a new 5-year high.

The best performers of the session on the were Al Masane Al Kobra Mining Company CJSC (SE:), which rose 10.00% or 10.40 points to trade at 114.40 at the close. Meanwhile, International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (SE:) added 6.80% or 9.60 points to end at 150.80 and Bank AlJazira (SE:) was up 6.18% or 1.70 points to 29.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were National Agriculture Development Co (SE:), which fell 3.54% or 1.25 points to trade at 34.10 at the close. Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:) declined 3.39% or 0.90 points to end at 25.65 and Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:) was down 2.75% or 1.15 points to 40.65.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 118 to 108 and 12 ended unchanged.

Shares in Al Masane Al Kobra Mining Company CJSC (SE:) rose to all time highs; gaining 10.00% or 10.40 to 114.40. Shares in Bank AlJazira (SE:) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 6.18% or 1.70 to 29.20.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.88% or 1.81 to $97.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.76% or 1.77 to hit $102.35 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.55% or 10.60 to trade at $1,948.40 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.02% to 4.08, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 99.79.
