Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the rose 0.40%.

The best performers of the session on the were Hail Cement Company (TADAWUL:), which rose 6.51% or 0.74 points to trade at 12.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (TADAWUL:) added 5.65% or 1.70 points to end at 31.80 and Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:) was up 4.76% or 1.25 points to 27.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Dur Hospitality (TADAWUL:), which fell 2.69% or 0.62 points to trade at 22.40 at the close. Arabian Cement Co (TADAWUL:) declined 2.35% or 0.85 points to end at 35.35 and The Qassim Cement Co (TADAWUL:) was down 2.24% or 1.60 points to 69.90.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 159 to 81 and 21 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.37% or 1.11 to $81.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.74% or 1.50 to hit $87.66 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 3.80 to trade at $1,927.70 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.28% to 4.08, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.07% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 101.74.
