Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Meanwhile, Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:) added 5.47% or 4.10 points to end at 79.10 and Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:) was up 4.91% or 1.04 points to 22.24 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:), which fell 3.22% or 3.60 points to trade at 108.20 at the close. Lazurde for Jewelry Co (SE:) declined 3.14% or 0.48 points to end at 14.82 and Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:) was down 2.65% or 0.90 points to 33.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 99 to 89 and 13 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.63% or 0.68 to $42.29 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.42% or 0.63 to hit $45.13 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.20 to trade at $1946.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.38% to 4.4188, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 93.435.
