Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 2.39%.

The best performers of the session on the were Liveperson (TASE:), which rose 8.05% or 383.00 points to trade at 5,138.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Airport City Ltd (TASE:) added 5.97% or 355.00 points to end at 6,300.00 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:) was up 5.82% or 1,390.00 points to 25,290.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:), which fell 1.50% or 990.00 points to trade at 64,900.00 at the close. Shufersal (TASE:) declined 0.72% or 17.00 points to end at 2,355.00 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:) was up 0.04% or 1.00 points to 2,682.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 316 to 176 and 26 ended unchanged.

Shares in Shufersal (TASE:) fell to 52-week lows; falling 0.72% or 17.00 to 2,355.00.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 3.96% or 4.37 to $114.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.95% or 3.28 to hit $114.40 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 1.25 to trade at $1,845.05 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.23% to 3.35, while EUR/ILS rose 0.59% to 3.59.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 101.92.
