Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the gained 1.10% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the were Melisron (TASE:), which rose 3.18% or 890 points to trade at 28890 at the close. Meanwhile, Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:) added 3.02% or 171 points to end at 5840 and Israel Corp (TASE:) was up 3.00% or 4070 points to 139570 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:), which fell 0.82% or 23 points to trade at 2792 at the close. OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:) declined 0.58% or 20 points to end at 3420 and Nice Ltd (TASE:) was down 0.55% or 530 points to 96000.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 318 to 199 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Melisron (TASE:) rose to all time highs; gaining 3.18% or 890 to 28890. Shares in Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.02% or 171 to 5840. Shares in Israel Corp (TASE:) rose to 5-year highs; up 3.00% or 4070 to 139570.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.69% or 0.52 to $76.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.74% or 0.58 to hit $78.80 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 3.45 to trade at $1812.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.36% to 3.1009, while EUR/ILS fell 0.44% to 3.5094.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 96.080.
