Investing.com – General Electric (NYSE:) reported on Tuesday third quarter that missed analysts’ forecasts and revenue that topped expectations.

General Electric announced earnings per share of $0.35 on revenue of $19.10. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $0.50 on revenue of $18.55B.

General Electric shares are down 22% from the beginning of the year, still down 36.85% from its 52 week high of $116.17 set on November 9, 2021.

General Electric follows other major Industrials sector earnings this month

General Electric’s report follows an earnings beat by United Parcel Service on Tuesday, who reported EPS of $2.99 on revenue of $24.2B, compared to forecasts EPS of $2.86 on revenue of $24.4B.

Lockheed Martin had beat expectations on Tuesday with third quarter EPS of $6.87 on revenue of $16.58B, compared to forecast for EPS of $6.66 on revenue of $16.66B.
