Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the declined 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:), which rose 2.77% or 560.00 points to trade at 20,780.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) added 2.40% or 480.00 points to end at 20,500.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) was up 0.22% or 1.70 points to 769.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:), which fell 4.87% or 29.60 points to trade at 579.00 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:) declined 3.58% or 3.40 points to end at 91.50 and Netcompany Group (CSE:) was down 3.15% or 13.20 points to 405.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 94 to 53 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.49% or 1.71 to $116.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.57% or 1.81 to hit $117.41 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 2.50 to trade at $1,845.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.88% to 6.99, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.84% at 102.63.
