Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 1.41%.

The best performers of the session on the were Rockwool International B (CSE:), which rose 6.09% or 101.50 points to trade at 1,769.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:) added 3.21% or 26.00 points to end at 836.60 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) was up 2.49% or 420.00 points to 17,260.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:), which fell 1.80% or 5.20 points to trade at 283.60 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:) declined 0.65% or 0.50 points to end at 76.60 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) was down 0.48% or 1.80 points to 372.90.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 89 to 60 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.62% or 1.74 to $109.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.57% or 1.71 to hit $110.81 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 7.20 to trade at $1,823.10 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.55% to 7.01, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.50% at 103.43.
