Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the gained 0.38%.

The best performers of the session on the were GN Store Nord (CSE:), which rose 7.28% or 16.50 points to trade at 243.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:) added 6.27% or 36.60 points to end at 621.00 and Demant A/S (CSE:) was up 4.96% or 13.90 points to 293.90 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:), which fell 1.88% or 14.10 points to trade at 735.00 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:) declined 1.08% or 0.94 points to end at 86.00 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:) was up 0.08% or 0.40 points to 529.60.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 96 to 62 and 13 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.98% or 1.06 to $109.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.56% or 0.63 to hit $112.18 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 2.69 to trade at $1,810.89 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.08% to 7.15, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 104.56.
