(Reuters) – Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:) on Tuesday named Doug Herrington as the chief of its Worldwide Amazon Stores, formerly known as Worldwide Consumer, replacing Dave Clark.

Doug joined the company in 2005, went on to launch AmazonFresh in 2007 and has led the company’s North American consumer business since 2015.

The company said earlier in June that Dave Clark, the executive who made Amazon into a worldwide delivery behemoth, will be stepping down.
