Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the fell 1.63%.

The best performers of the session on the were Tanmiah Food Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:), which rose 4.04% or 4.40 points to trade at 113.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Yamamah Saudi Cement Co. (TADAWUL:) added 2.37% or 0.70 points to end at 30.20 and Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (TADAWUL:) was up 2.20% or 1.60 points to 74.30 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:), which fell 7.93% or 1.38 points to trade at 16.02 at the close. Theeb Rent a Car Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) declined 6.76% or 5.00 points to end at 69.00 and Umm Al-Qura (TADAWUL:) was down 6.70% or 1.44 points to 20.06.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 219 to 18 and 9 ended unchanged.

Shares in Tanmiah Food Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 4.04% or 4.40 to 113.40.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 5.37% or 4.75 to $93.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 4.27% or 4.03 to hit $98.45 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.10% or 19.00 to trade at $1,701.80 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.52% to 3.66, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 112.64.
