Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the lost 0.03%.

The best performers of the session on the were Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (TADAWUL:), which rose 7.52% or 1.42 points to trade at 20.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:) added 6.16% or 5.30 points to end at 91.30 and Al Gassim Investment Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) was up 5.13% or 0.84 points to 17.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:), which fell 3.11% or 0.50 points to trade at 15.58 at the close. Alamar Foods CJSC (TADAWUL:) declined 2.20% or 3.00 points to end at 133.60 and Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:) was down 2.07% or 0.85 points to 40.30.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 149 to 82 and 20 ended unchanged.

Shares in Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.11% or 0.50 to 15.58.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.16% or 1.65 to $77.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.06% or 1.65 to hit $81.64 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.45 to trade at $1,826.85 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.02% to 3.99, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 103.82.
