Thank You.
Thank you!
my charts are not loaded for backtesting why is it so?
Manual backtesting is good. But my strategy requires me to find the trend on higher time frames and enter on the lower. What should I do?
Lad, that is a great way to test a strategy, thank you for sharing.
Nice one. Thanks.
Trello Link is not for Gold version. Just typical affiliate links
if your trading system uses more than one time frame then what should do?
how can i get premium version for free of trello?
I don't sign up for platforms for kicks but the way he made use of Trello made me sign up immediately after watching this video. Great organization – better than OneNote which is what I've been using for Forex trades for years. The visualization of the trades is what sold me.
Do you think I should practice backtesting as a beginner ?
Helps!thanks a lot
where/how did you define your strategy that you are backtesting?
Thanks a lot! This is really helpful!
This is definitely a good way to do it I will try in the future. Very visual as well but I still need to spreadsheet.
Tradingview now has a replay button. You might want to try that. Helps me a lot.
This looks like a very well organized system. Thank you. I have to ask, what is the point of backtesting? Is this an exercise in sharpening your ability to evaluate market moves on a given timescale?
Thank you very much for your generous, very appreciated =D
Jesus loves you.
This is definitely a good way to do it. Cheap and simple! But it becomes useless when you have to switch between TF's , like from Daily to 4H! The chart becomes a mess =/
Can you put a video of excel backtesting method?
I still prefer local backtests using MT4 or 5. I prefer because I think with a powerful computer it's much faster. What do you think?
When back testing can you use volume as well?
Thanks so much for this video on back testing!
Can you clarify what exactly it is you're doing? Is this like a mental diary? So you find a setup, decide what you would have done, and then scroll to the right to see what would have happened? If it is, I'm a little confused about the 'trade not taken' thing. I think what you're doing requires (or maybe builds) some mental discipline. But I'm wondering if what you think you would have done jibes what you ACTUALLY would have done in real life – or maybe they would be exactly the same…because you can only be true to yourself. Maybe I've got this all wrong.
sure, it is important to log the test trades, but what about stats? do you never auto-test your strategies using EAs?
im so glad i found ur channel keep it up and good luck
i like this idea however how do you calculate things such as drawdown , avg gain/loss etc?
Thanks for sharing. Great Content, Right to the point, No fluff. Great Video.
this is exciting for me. I can't deal with copying all the data, so I just signed up for Trello and can make some progress. Thanks.
Your videos are too boring
This is a great back testing system. I appreciate you sharing it.
