Investing.com – DuPont (NYSE:) De Nemours reported on Tuesday third quarter that beat analysts’ forecasts and revenue that topped expectations.
DuPont De Nemours announced earnings per share of $0.82 on revenue of $3.32B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $0.80 on revenue of $3.23B.
DuPont De Nemours shares are down 23% from the beginning of the year, still down 27.50% from its 52 week high of $85.16 set on January 14.
DuPont De Nemours follows other major Materials sector earnings this month
DuPont De Nemours’s report follows an earnings beat by Vale ADR on October 27, who reported EPS of $0.98 on revenue of $9.93B, compared to forecasts EPS of $0.6671 on revenue of $10.74B.
Air Products had beat expectations on Thursday with fourth quarter EPS of $2.89 on revenue of $3.57B, compared to forecast for EPS of $2.77 on revenue of $3.21B.
