Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the lost 0.66%.

The best performers of the session on the were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:), which rose 1.76% or 2.45 points to trade at 141.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) added 1.27% or 6.10 points to end at 485.70 and GN Store Nord (CSE:) was up 1.14% or 1.95 points to 172.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:), which fell 1.91% or 2.00 points to trade at 102.50 at the close. Genmab (CSE:) declined 1.51% or 41.00 points to end at 2,680.00 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:) was down 1.14% or 9.80 points to 848.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 74 and 12 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.70% or 1.39 to $80.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.88% or 1.66 to hit $86.53 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.37% or 7.05 to trade at $1,935.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.07% to 6.84, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 101.71.
