Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 0.69%.

The best performers of the session on the were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:), which rose 4.64% or 615.00 points to trade at 13,865.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Rockwool International B (CSE:) added 4.61% or 53.00 points to end at 1,203.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) was up 4.09% or 530.00 points to 13,480.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (CSE:), which fell 0.70% or 1.10 points to trade at 156.90 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:) declined 0.69% or 6.20 points to end at 893.80 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) was down 0.43% or 3.30 points to 761.40.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 99 to 44 and 23 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.53% or 0.43 to $80.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.88% or 0.77 to hit $86.41 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 12.30 to trade at $1,680.90 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.21% to 7.59, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 112.11.
