Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the added 0.67% to hit a new 6-months high.

The best performers of the session on the were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:), which rose 2.11% or 8.90 points to trade at 431.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:) added 1.41% or 5.20 points to end at 373.00 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:) was up 1.40% or 7.40 points to 535.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Netcompany Group (CSE:), which fell 1.69% or 5.60 points to trade at 325.00 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:) declined 1.37% or 2.30 points to end at 166.00 and Ambu A/S (CSE:) was down 1.08% or 1.06 points to 97.20.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 74 and 14 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.40% or 1.81 to $77.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.28% or 1.84 to hit $82.52 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 2.95 to trade at $1,822.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 6.98, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 103.34.
